Software which enables faster browsing by eliminating memory leaks in Firefox.
Mozilla's Firefox browser has long been known to contain memory leaks and with the passing years, nothing seems to have been done about it. For longtime users, it has become common practice to stop what you're doing just to restart your browser and 'reset' these memory leaks.
With Firemin for Firefox, you can effectively stop Firefox memory leaks automatically. As memory usage of this popular browser increases, your system slows down and you're stuck with limited system resources. Infact, Firefox can use up to 500MB of memory if you use the browser continuously.
Firemin forces Firefox to give back the memory it took from Windows and allows you to use Firefox in an optimized environment. So if you're not quite ready to hand all of your personal data over to Google in return for a browser with better memory optimization but fewer features (Google Chrome), then Firemin might be what you're looking for. Best of all, Firemin is completely free software. Happy browsing!
